Bang Rajan (film)

Bang Rajan is a 2000 Thai historical drama film depicting the battles of the Siamese village of Bang Rachan against the Burmese invaders in 1767. The film was directed by Thanit Jitnukul and co-written by him. It was released in 2004 in the US, presented by Oliver Stone in limited release. The story merges at least two independent events that took place in the war. The Burmese army aims to invade Ayutthaya to block the invasion in Bang Rachan, initially led by Nai Taen.
