Black Silk is a 1961 Thai crime drama film written and directed by Rattana Pestonji. It is considered the first Thai film noir and was screened at the 11th Berlin International Film Festival in 1961. The story follows Seni, a club owner, who is being pressured by a rival named Wan to pay a loan. In an attempt to solve his problem, Seni discovers that he has a long-lost brother named Sema, but upon visiting him, Seni learns that Sema has already passed away.
